George Castells

George Castells is a working rock/pop bassist, guitarist, songwriter, producer, actor, director and writer based out of Los Angeles/Orange County, CA.  He has performed, toured and worked with numerous acts including Steel Panther, The Flys, Annabella Lwin(Bow Wow Wow), Nick Richards(Boys Don't Cry), The 80z Allstars, The Mad T Party Band, Fast Times, Off The Cuff, The Young Guns, The VIPs, Bayside High, Josh Disan, Jenny Kidd, Donovan Lyman, Blue Meridian, and his own band, Adora Vida(formerly Pretty Sneaky Sis), where he handled co-writing duties as well as playing guitar and bass on recordings.  For years, he was part of the Yamaha Corporation’s house band for convention shows and appeared as the guitar instructor in a Yamaha instructional DVD.  George has performed in over 3,500 shows across the U.S. and Europe and has appeared on TV and Film both as a musician and an actor.  He has worked in the studio with producers Tony Perry, Brett Chassen, Brian Adler, Dan Franklin, and Grammy Award winner Francis Buckley.  He has also performed in the backing band for finalists of the TV show Rockstar Supernova for a special engagement held at Universal Studios CityWalk.  George holds an MFA in Acting from the California Institute of the Arts.  His screenplay, Exit La La Land, was a Finalist in the 2014 Hollywood Screenplay Contest and a Quarter Finalist in the 2014 Fresh Voices Screenplay Competition.
